This adjustable lifting bar was designed and made in our shop for
manipulating large workpieces over the catch tank. The spreader bar
is 4" x 1/4" square tube notched for and bolted to lift forks, and
notched on the front and back faces with keyholes to anchor 3/8"
chain.
Each face of the tube was cut on the OMAX in its own setup. After
crossing 3-1/2" of water the jet does not pierce the far side of the
tube so this kind of cut is straightforward.
The hooks were also cut on the OMAX, from 3/4" steel plate.
